3/4 cup total of mayonnaise and sour cream*
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Zest of one lemon
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/3 cup olive oil
*Can substitute 3/4 cup plain yogurt
1. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, sugar and thyme in the bowl of a food processor. Add salt and pepper.
2. With the motor running, add the olive oil in a slow stream until emulsified. Refrigerate.
