Yoga Level I-II
Description: This class is designed for the beginning/intermediate level student. Class moves at a medium pace with careful attention to detail. It is ideal for students with little to no yoga experience and students with less than 2 years experience. This class would also be appropriate for students coming back to yoga after a long absence or recovering from illness. Individuals suffering from chronic pain, headaches, hormonal imbalances, and/or other stress-related issues may also benefit from this class.
Ellie teaches Iyengar-style yoga using props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, belts, chairs, and mats for ease and comfort. Pranayama (breath) will be explored as well as the basic concepts of yoga philosophy. Mats are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Yoga Attire: Yoga pants, shorts, t-shirt (not too baggy), and
bare feet. If you already own a mat, please bring it along or
you are welcome to use one of ours.
