                                      Pain Management

                                      Natural healing is a long-lasting
                                      solution to chronic pain.

Understanding and treating your pain is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. Every piece of the puzzle, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, is important in creating the whole picture. Once we can see the picture, we can put together an effective treatment plan that will have long-lasting results.

Pain is usually the first symptom that indicates that there is an imbalance in the body.  Pain can be experienced in different ways ranging from sharp and stabbing to dull and achy. The first step in treating pain is to find its origin. Pain can be caused by a number of different things. The most common causes include:
                                      • Injury or trauma
                                      • Post-operative
                                      • Physical and/or emotional stress
                                      • Overuse or under-use of the body
                                      • Pregnancy
                                      • Degenerative disorders
                                      • Disease
                                      • Lack of sleep
                                      • Poor diet
                                      • Aging

                                      Choosing the right
                                      healing modalities
The next step is choosing healing modalities that address your unique set of pain symptoms. These healing modalities may include acupuncture, massage, herbal treatment, diet therapy, hot/cold therapy, restful sleep protocol, lifestyle modification, and exercise. An integration of healing modalities is usually the most effective strategy in eliminating pain.

                                      A "Feel Good" Process
Using natural healing modalities to alleviate pain is both an educational process and pleasurable experience. It usually takes four to six weeks for the process to take full effect. Results can often be felt after the first treatment.
